Christmas Fun!!!

Hello to everyone! I seriously can't believe it took me this long to post, and since it did...I've spent at least an hour choosing pictures, resizing them (my new camera takes too big of pictures to post on blogger) ...so it's a long one. I guess I'm just going to give a little run down of the last 2 weeks! We have had such a fun time-

This is a really dumb picture but apparently I didn't take any others at the "Nelson Family Christmas party" This one is fun because we used to get together monthly, then it turned into Holidays, and now it's just twice a year. It is fun to see my cousins and all of their kids and my Grandparents work really hard to make it fun for everyone. This picture is Lauren and Hallie opening their slippers, a book, and a darling toddler sized pillow. My cute grandma made all the kids one:)

The next party we went to was at the Parsons. It was so much fun and here are all the guests. Not to mention we had amazingly yummy food!!!

This is pretty much how my girls play...not very good. Poor Bailee probably didn't know what to think about two other little girls coming in and stealing all of her toys...She was a good sport though! Its so fun for them to have friends their age! (at least I think it's fun)

Here is what we probably spent the MOST time doing....Ripping everything off the tree. I put our ottoman in front hoping to block them, but they just climbed right up. I wish you could hear the picture, because the WHOLE time they do this they are saying "no no no" I could scream:)

trading gifts with their friend Navi!!! yeah:) you can tell Hallie wasn't feeling so great this day poor girl. Thanks Navi and Laci for this cutest little cow that came with a CD and DVD that the cow sings and talks along to. How fun is that!?! They love it!

Well....here is Hallie in her snow pants. We went sledding! However I was so busy taking video I didn't take any pictures:) They were pretty much little scaredy cats as normal, but it was really fun.


Oh how cute. The girls did get colds so I'll blame hallie's 100 ornery pictures on that. So much for their cute little dresses- no cute little girls inside:) This was their first day of NURSERY also!!! Talk about the best thing that has ever happened to us. Oh I think I all the sudden love church again!


My parents were SO cute this year and did the 12 days of Christmas for all of us. On the 14th of Dec. they went from Ogden to Logan and delivered a big Tupperware full of gifts for each day. It was so fun, and they were so thoughtful with each gift. They all came with a cute explanation of the gift and encouraged spending family time together! Thanks Mom and Dad for this special little Christmas memory!!!


Here the girls are enjoying Grammy's homemade suckers...they were part of the 12 days....Each person received two suckers...one for themselves and one for a friend. The card said, "Friends are so important and special...take one sucker for your self and give the other to your best friend... tell them how much you love them and appreciate your friendship." I think Lauren and Hallie gave theirs to each other:) does that count???

Christmas Eve! I told Ryan last year it doesn't matter if we all have 500 pairs of jammies we will ALWAYS get to open new ones on Christmas Eve:) This could possibly be one of my favorite parts of Christmas!

Spending time with family and friends is what we love most at Christmas.... We look forward to these couple of weeks Colby & Janae's family gets to spend with us every year:)
