Cecret Lake

On Studio 5 each week they are highlighting a great hike, and ever since they did the little story on Cecret Lake (the miners found the lake on the top of a great big mountain, now above Alta ski resort, and gave it a name. They obviously couldn't spell secret but the story is that they just decided to leave it spelled that way since the miners named it) my mom has really wanted to go. So as crazy as we are Me & the girls, my mom, my sister in law Tami & Riley(4) & Luke(3) hiked to cecret Lake. The funniest part of the story is that on the way there I text Brooke to make sure they said strollers would be okay on the hike... well we had to ditch them about half way up, and right when we got to the top Brooke finally text me back "NO STROLLERS! TURN BACK NOW!" I just laughed and told her "too late, we just got to the top:) It was so beautiful and only 74 degrees!

Looking a bit ridiculous:) If you even knew how many people were amazed we made it to the top! Riley and Luke really were SO great! Thanks to Dora...riley is in love with the mountains!!!
CECRET LAKE...we finally made it!

Cute little Luke! No fall or trip was even going to phase him- I think in this picture he was feeding grapes to all of the squirrels. They were everywhere.A little dramatic Riley was so sad the squirrels were leaving:) She seriously was the best hiker!

Tami! Don't worry...she made it to the top in white pants and WEDGES! We heard it was a nice easy hike...how funny- I love her!
