Most every day someone asks me "Who does Ella look like?!!" I usually say, Ella :) Some of her features look like my family, but I also have noticed a resemblance of Carey, Ryan's dad...

and then we came across this! Lucky for Ella, she has a twin of her own! :) Loose the bow, drop the chin...and that is my child! Oh ya, and I was right.... she looks like Carey! Those dang Christensen genes are too strong, but at least they are cute genes I guess :)

ps did I tell you this baby is going to be TWO next week?!!! well..she is. craziness!

Thanksgiving Feast at the Twinners Preschool! They thought having Dad at school was the best thing in the world, Ella enjoyed eating a bag of chips, and I wondered how Subway sandwiches had any connection to a Thanksgiving Feast ;)

So you think you can dance. I should have posted the 14 pictures before this that Channa's mom took trying to get one with all of us in it...and not completely blurry. We were crying we were laughing so hard. Apparently iphone blogging isn't for everyone...love you Cherry :) FUN FUN night!

Lauren is still doing her hair daily. Well.....like three times a day. She is actually really really good, considering she is 4. It makes me laugh too, for obvious reasons. The other day Hallie said "I wish I could do my own hair like Lauren" So I told her she had to practice if she ever wanted to learn! She said "WELL!! every time I put my hand up to put the elastic in, my hand hides the elastic and I can't see what I'm doing!" That dang hand. ha ha

They love the $63.00 cotton candy & snow cones. Note to self: snow cones are even more of a mess than cotton candy...if you can even believe that.

This is the ~~four thousandth~~ FIRST sippy of rotten milk we've found at our house. I'm kind of to the point where I say chuck em. (Ryan hates rotten sippies probably more than ANYTHING so he's no help) Well... Lauren finds the rotten sippy, I say throw it away...she cries because its apparently her "FAVORITE ONE!" lol. So I tell her to wash it herself. and look at her....smiling away! Cleaning rotten milk. Hilarious

I'm busy busy working away making cute clothing for people to wear!!! Don't I have the best job ever?! :) A designing, personal shopper! Seriously I LOVE it, and love all the people I get to work with!! This is on the back of some jackets for Northridge Drill Team. It's even cuter in real life :)

...and still taking lots of pictures, and selling card templates! You know...in my spare time :) But the truth is, I love everything I get to do. Except when I had to clean Ella's poop off my carpet today. WHY OH WHY is she already to the taking off her diaper stage???? xo

Last week was my Birthday! I like to celebrate the whole week long :) It was so great! Full of family & friends... lunches, dinners, SYTYCD Show, TWO all night babysitters, & these cute orange & white flowers my from my girls :) Ryan helped them hide them the night before when I was gone, then they each drew a map to help me to find them. They were so sweet & excited!! I love how kids remind us how exciting simple things can be.

Of course the most popular question you get on your birthday is, "does it feel weird to be 27(or whatever your age is)?!!" ... I was feeling totally fine about it, and then Ryan said "I can remember your 17th birthday..!" Then it was weird for a minute. TEN years have gone by since Ryan and I started dating. That is so crazy. I still don't think being 27 is weird (especially considering my life situation: husband, three kids, 2nd house, my own company, a sleep wrinkle on the left side of my nose..) Life seems to be flying by so quickly.... but I'm hoping that is because I am enjoying it. Sadly, sometimes I have to make the conscious effort to be in the moment. To not be distracted by work, my computer & phone calls. The moments that I want and love to be "in" are with my family. I love watching my girls interact with each other...I love that my 4 year olds still want me to fly them on my feet, then do my hair and play with makeup. Being there, in the moment, is something I'm not always good at but hope to focus on more.

27 feels good. I am happy, healthy, and really have all the things in my life I have ever wanted. now...how to re-train my brain from thinking eating like crap is okay....that birthday week handed me some serious calories!

I uploaded a bunch of pictures from my phone to my computer and laughed at 98% of them! Probably because they were all taken by the twins. I'm just going to go ahead and say they love every little detail of their lives and want to remember it. OR probably they just think its really cool they can snap a picture of anything they want. One day, 2 photographer friends got talking and decided they just couldn't find any great Christmas Cards to use for their clients, or for themselves! With the card season approaching, they started to panic knowing the Christmas rush would be awfully overwhelming without some ready to go card templates! Well. . . . after snuggling their 6 combined children to bed, they drove far and wide to get together and see what they could come up with. Several hours, two pumpkin pie shakes, and 8 sets of cards later... 3 am design was born.

And we are SO dang excited about it!! Me and LACI are a great team and I think we came up with some stuff you will really love! You can change all the colors and text on each card to fit you taste. We obviously LOVE the bright, happy colors :) We feel like we made options for everyone. You can buy the whole set to use for your clients, or just one card for yourself! If you don't own photoshop, no worries! Purchase the flattened jpeg file, send us your picture & we will make it for you & send you the file to print. The great part about a double sided designed card is it can be used for eight cards....or 16 if you are only printing single sided! Double bonus!

We are having a great summer! Work for me is starting to be a little more under control, and we are LOVING our new house!!! I found this picture that made me laugh---

It also made me miss having grass, a fence, and a garden.... I don't really miss the sandbox;) It is definitely worth giving those things up for a little bit, but gee my house gets dusty fast! I wish I could keep up with my kids, house, work, play, & my blog....but apparently I can't... I'll keep trying but until then here's a fun something I've been working on- maybe one day I'll have a reveal for you :)

Tonight I was looking through all the pictures I have missed out on blogging about, and came across the twins birthday party invitations.......

YES, this was from last year...NOT planning 3 months in advance. You can imagine how cool they thought I was that I made them look like Ariel :) Too bad after all the decorations and swimming pools were ready.....the RAINS came! Yes, last July 2nd it was a big fat rain storm. It sure didn't stop the kids from playing in the pool though. I can't believe it was almost a year ago. They have changed so much in the last year! The saddest thing (even more sad than the rain ruining our plans) is that Lauren still has Hallie convinced it was "HER" birthday. Even just a couple days ago Hallie told me she "really wanted to have a birthday before Lauren gets ANOTHER one!" See....even they are confused by being twins. ha ha.

The baby can dance!

Oh my gosh. I haven't laughed so hard in a LONG time! I was getting the girls ready for dance today and apparently Ella knew what was going on. I was getting them dressed and she stood in the middle of my floor looking at us...... and started to dance. LUCKILY I had taken pictures a few hours earlier in my room, so my camera was close!! I couldn't believe it. The more we laughed, the more she danced. Maybe because she is still my baby I think she's too little to a)know what's going on b)hold herself in that position. Pretty much it made my day....maybe my week! I love her!!!

First of all... I LOVE THE SUN!!!! possibly more than anything. I'll never forget about a month ago when we were driving in the car. It seemed like the first day the sun had actually come out in months and Hallie said, "Mom I love the sun in my eyes!" me too hal ;) I love the sun in my eyes. Well, last week when the sun decided to stay away and the snow came instead... I almost cried. Instead of being a baby, I shut the blinds...put 2 cubes of a new scentsy flavor GUAVA NECTAR (which is AMAZING by the way) and pretended like it was a beautiful day! The girls colored pretty much the entire day....

but there was no fooling the little one. She now KNOWS about the outside. She is so happy outside! "It's too cold" isn't really something she can understand. Poor baby longing to go outside to play....

So here I am....wishing, hoping, praying for more SUN in MY EYES type of days!!

As much as I love this age, I'm afraid this summer is going to be a little rough. This baby runs as fast as she can---straight into the road. She puts EVERY rock she can find in her mouth(she even found some gum on the ground at the park yesterday- I threw up in my mouth) and now dumps her head straight under the water in the tub...like her sisters. Pretty much EVERYTHING I am terrified of her doing, she tries to do. I have to follow her around and watch her constantly. She is getting to be pretty funny though! Her current obsession is puppies, especially Clifford. She about falls off the couch when he comes on the tv. She has to take her blanket with her out of her crib, and would eat the WHOLE day if I would let her. We love her so much!

*Just pray I can keep up with her :) --oh ya, and could you also pray for her to grow some hair??

If this picture couldn't make me happy, I'm not sure what would. These two are getting SO big and SO grown up! They are constantly saying hilarious things and are getting so smart!! They are THE BEST of friends- It is the sweetest thing, and definitely makes my life a little easier. They are both content to draw on paper with a pen for hours....then they fold it....and tape it up. They repeat this probably 10 times a day. They are loving preschool and dance class. It is so fun watching them get excited and practice all the new things they learn. I can't believe in a few months they will be FOUR! Life goes by too fast...but I am SO happy to be their mother.

So, Julie Parker needed some models for a local boutique Little Cherry Blossoms. If you haven't been there, you must! DARLING! Anyway, I submitted their photos and she asked us to join her. I LOVE how they turned out. It was such a fun shoot---music blaring---lots of kids---live little creatures! So much fun:) I can't wait to see the rest, but for now these are the ones she has posted, and if you want to see how it all went down the owner of Cherry Blossoms husband put together a VIDEO. It made me excited for SPRING!!

...better a late birthday post than a never one! We obviously had a Polka Dot party for little Ella. We have such great family and friends who are always so kind to come celebrate! At ONE ella weighed 20lbs, walks & tries to run. Her favorite words are HI! mom, dadda, mmmm, & Na...Na(this word she uses for her binkie & food) She is obsessed with her sisters and always wanders into their room. She is a climber (which is a new thing for me because the twins were CHICKENS!) She has eyes that smile, and gives slobbery kisses. The day we turned her around in her carseat I was driving to Logan, and for 20 minutes straigh she said HI to all of us and everything in the car. It was hilarious. She is honestly so sweet and lovey. What a fun day her birthday was! We love her!!!

It is not uncommon at our house for the girls to be put to bed...then minutes later come tip toeing down the stairs. They usually need a drink, a clip for their hair(??? you know because it's so long...lol),they forgot to tell us something, etc. This night was a little different. Look at this child. She was apparently having too much fun. What is under there you ask? Pretty much 14 pairs of pajamas, a couple aprons, and a couple tutu's. Oh ya, don't forget to check out her sweet headband.
This girl has been making us laugh a lot lately. We found a book colored on...with the letter "H" written a few times. We asked them who had been coloring on the books(obviously Hallie), but neither one would fess up. After asking a few times Lauren finally piped up (with her pointer finger in the air) "THE AUTHOR DID! THE AUTHOR DID!!!!" Oh man. Then we just laughed. and laughed.

Wellllllll...... IT happened. Just like I said it would. TODAY. This little baby turns ONE! I can't hardly believe it, and for sure can't stand it. I tried really hard not to shed any tears as I put her to bed the night before the "big day". I failed. So, I played with her on the ground for a little while instead of putting her straight to her crib. That helped stop the tears. She is truly the sweetest little baby. She has so much to say in her little babbling language, and even a little bit of English ;) Right now she says "H-III!" to everyone she sees, even her dolls/toys. It is so cute! She blows kisses, walks when she feels like it, is constantly coming over to lay her head down on me for a quick little snuggle, and and my favorite thing she does is says "MMMMM!!!" Any time I'm holding her and we walk past the pantry, or whenever anyone else has food, she is mmmmm-ing. It is SO cute! She has been the perfect addition to our family. Lauren & Hallie love her so much...and she couldn't love them more. She gets so excited to see her Dad & will even say Dadda if she sees him or his picture.

My life is full of people I love, especially in my home. I am amazed daily how lucky I am to be blessed with my girls & my husband. Today is the day to celebrate Ella....and so we will! Off to PARTY and kiss those little cheeks!!! Happy Birthday to our sweet little Ella!

Two funny little girls!

Yesterday me and my friend Jessica went out for a quick little shoot of our kids...and of course trying out my new camera! (YAHOO....happy birthday to me & my Canon 5d Mark11) here's one little picture from our day. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new camera and am excited to see the magic I'll be able to make ;)

Lauren and Hallie are loving preschool, and currently have lots of imaginary friends/pets. Celeda is the main friend at this point. Hallie's "celeda" lives at Target....and Lauren's "celeda" lives at Costco. (funny that those are the two places I would totally choose to live if I had to live somewhere else) Here's a few things about Celeda---and I have NO clue where her name came from---

*Celeda can drive

*She has her own car

*She can scare away mice

*She knows how to do laundry

*She loves doggily (hallie's imaginary puppy)

Believe it or not Celeda has told Hallie she can come live at her house...SO if I'm being a "rude mom"... that's the threat. "I'm going to live at Celeda's" . Then I say great, have fun walking :) Then it's over with.

You can see they have fabulous imaginations which I actually love, and laugh at a lot. They can spell & recognize their names and a some letters. Although they are very trying on my patience, I SURE love these two. Sometimes I wish my life was as adventurous and majical as theirs:)

LOOK at me :) Another post! yahoo!!! Halloween was so much fun this year! Lauren & Hallie were so excited to go trick or treating. They kept saying... "just two more houses, k mom?" It was funny. They've been doing lots of fun Halloween activities at preschool this month including "The Spooky Walk" I'm not sure exactly how it goes, or what its all about...but they talk about it all day long! So.....Hopefully your Halloween was as "COOKEY....and SPOOKY" as ours! *cookey and spooky come straight from the spooky walk song :)

and LOOK! we found a twin for ella so she didn't feel left out:) This is my brothers little boy who's just a couple months older. So fun. Happy Halloween.....and now for MY birthday ;) yes.

This little baby is too sweet & cute for her own good! I sometimes think I could just eat her up- okay maybe I always think that! She is getting to be so funny- and show some real personality! She says Mama, Da Da, & I swear Hi (in a really high pitched sweet voice) She had her 9 month appt and weighed 19 lbs! Thats so big to me- She's crawling everywhere, even up the stairs. She stand up on holding onto anything & even gets brave enough to balance every once in a while. She LOVES lauren & hallie...and is starting to be so excited when Ryan gets home. My favorite thing is how she has learned to gives kisses! She loves all the food I have offered her, and could eat a can of puffs a day! She is such a happy girl, and we LOVE having her around. I think I'll go get her from her crib right now and snuggle the little chubby ;)

we are alive.....

crazy.(like their hair) but alive. (tell your kids if they cut their own hair it will look like this) I am so sad to be so far behind that I can't catch up. Remember when I promised to be better? oops. sorry! The worst part is you kind of missed this baby grow up...

she is BIG (big as in old and big as in chubby) and SO much fun! We love her! The little stinker is already crawling everywhere...even up the stairs. It about gives me a heart attack- and she climbs up looks back at me and laughs. How can I stop her from turning one?

Lauren & Hallie are LOVING preschool! and I might be enjoying it too :) They are definitely little girls now. They have just recently started fighting.... "I'm not going to be your friend again, EVER." I hear this about 10 times a day. I remind them that they are the only friends each other has and they usually get right over it. Drama I tell you!

The good news is this- I have been thinking how much i love to blog, and look back at all my old posts and realize that I'm happy to have them...
The bad news is- I work all day and all night keeping up with my two businesses and my family- it doesn't leave much time for blogging- but we'll see...maybe just maybe I'll find some time! good night ;)

Pancakes

Tonight I asked the girls what they wanted for dinner. PANCAKES!!! they both screamed. Every morning we wake up, they ask for pancakes...
For some reason when I was pregnant with Ella I made pancakes pretty much every single day. Lauren & Hallie would each get a turn to stir, then I would empty the dishwasher while they cooked. My pancakes became perfect! Light brown...not too airy, not too heavy. Tonight I started to believe that I may have created a comfort food of pancakes for the twins. We had good mornings together while eating those yummy pancakes. They had my full attention, good music in the background, and I believe over those pancakes they learned to pray.
The bad thing about them asking for pancakes every morning now is that I have not made them once since Ella was born. Maybe its because I am parched in the morning from nursing, and want a bowl of cereal with lots of milk, but they just don't sound so yummy to me any more. but...tonight....as I made pancakes, I unloaded the dishwasher, looked over at my babies-who I noticed have completely grown up in the last 7 1/2 months since the other baby came and realized how much I loved our pancake breakfast mornings. I think I'll start making pancakes again more often...maybe even Ella can try some soon.

I decided to take the girls to Bear Lake a few days early before Ryan came up, so we had a great 5 day vacation...but I am so behind on work, laundry, and so many other things now...that I am OVERWHELMED! so instead of doing anything productive for these 5 minutes I decided I'd show you how flipping cute my baby is! Oh man...I just love her. She was a HORRIBLE sleeper at Bear lake, but great other than that. Have a wonderful-more productive from here on out- day!

We are having a fun Summer! Like the title says all of these pictures are just random since I am so behind! ...I'll start with the girls experiencing dance class for the first time...

I knew it might be bad when we were leaving to class and Lauren REALLY wanted to bring her "Barbie and the Diamond Castle" barbie to class and Hallie was sure she needed to bring her Purple Princess Dress. They obviously were thinking the teacher would put on music and let them dance...kind of like we do in the kitchen. But, Miss JeriAnne means business:) They didn't make it all the way through class before they started to cry and came out. But the good news is, a month later they finally made it all the way through- and BOTH earned a treat:) yes. they have to earn a treat. at 3? hmm:) They do love it though.

Julie.Me.& Annie. OOOH how I LOVE these girls!!! We lived together the summer after I graduated from High School. We had SOOO much fun together and this was the first time we'd all been together for a good 4 years. We are life long friends:) *funny, I didn't have a job that whole summer and every day I would beg Julie & kayla to call in sick to work, or Annie to skip class... it may have worked once or twice but not nearly enough*

I love this picture so much. This is my cute grandpa nelson. My grandma was so sweet and invited all of us girl cousins and our kids for lunch and a play date at her house. It was so fun and I'm sad I didn't get a picture of all the kids together. Maybe next time:)

This would probably be Lauren & Hallie's favorite thing EVER right now. Swimming in grandma Cindy & Papa Carey's hot tub! They are crazy about it & their grandma & grandpa are GREAT sports to always get in and play with them. We have some LUCKY kids that are spoiled by their grandparents!

mmmmmm...something about NACHO's at the swimming pool. They probably don't even taste that good but we always have to get some:)

Fathers Day. I KNOW this is not how Ryan pictured his life (with three girls), but he is the BEST dad. ever. Seriously our kids are obsessed with him and he is so good to do all the little things with and for them that make them happy. I am learning from him, and I have his Dad to thank for teaching him how to be such a wonderful dad. We are lucky to have them both. and Dad, I LOVE him- a whole bunch!

...and thank goodness I took pictures of the twins just 2 days before the hair was CHOPPED....my sweet girls. I love them.

If you aren't my friend on facebook you've been out of the loop. About 2 weeks ago I walked down stairs talking to Ryan on the phone, got an address for him, emailed it to him...walked back upstairs and found both of the girls on my bathroom counter looking like THIS. I grabbed the scissors (still trying to find where I put them when I was in shock) took the girls off the counter, and locked myself in my closet- laughing/crying/swearing. I had no idea how to react. So I made my phone calls, then took them to my sisters for some serious fixing. She did a great job, bless her. It's almost embarrassing how many compliments I keep getting on their hair. Of course I can't just say thank you, but HAVE to give the explanation that they did it to themselves. Happy Birthday to Lauren & Hallie.... can you believe just three short (sometimes seeming very long) years turns this....

Oh how I love these two girls! When I see the pictures of them brand new it easily reminds me of my first feelings about them. Overwhelming love. I feel so lucky that I have been able to experience raising two the same age, same look, but totally different personalities. The two of them at this age has been very trying on my patience, but I still find the energy sometimes (probably not enough) to laugh at them. They have a deep love for each other. What in the world would it really be like to be a twin? They are lucky. Their baby sister thinks they are amazing and hilarious. I can't believe they are three. I love them so much........I think I'll go have a fun day with them and try not to cry after seeing their baby pictures:)

Our neighbors across the street have a Dog who had these DARLING little puppies! They were so nice to let the girls (and my brothers 2 kids) come hold them. THE KIDS WERE IN HEAVEN! and I secretly wanted to take one home:) then I remembered they grow bigger, and poo all over the lawn, and we left with a sweet memory instead.

Well, I'm probably not going to get one of these any time soon, but I do really love my mom, my mother in law, and my moms mom...and mostly being a mom:) I am so thankful for all the "mom's" I've had in my life. Even my sisters acted like my mom sometimes and now I'm grateful for that. In fact I hope my girls will do the same for each other. I have been so blessed with a great mother and women around me to help me learn how to be a good mom to my children. Happy Mothers Day to all of you! I scored a great gift I'll have to show later...me & my sisters might have all "taken care of" the gifts for each others husbands. They were happy, we scored. Funny that we all ended up getting the same gift?!? ha ha.

Easter

We had a great Easter weekend! Easter was probably our most action packed day since Ella was born. We woke up to see that the Easter bunny -such a weird thing- came! Lauren was all over it finding pretty much all the eggs. She actually started putting eggs straight into Hallie's basket:) Hallie would pick one up...look at it...and give it a little shake. So funny. It was a fun little morning together & then we actually all went to church (I have germ/sickness issues so me & the girls have not been attending) It was a little crazy but the girls were really excited to go to nursery again. Then we went to Ryan's parents for a hunt and lunch...then to my parents for another hunt & dinner. Lots of treats..and even some $$$ was found:) Here are some pictures from the weekend...

THIS baby!!! It's a problem. I honestly can't get enough of her! I just want to love and squish and kiss and snuggle her---the whole day. STILL. She is three months old & still the sleepiest little thing, but the hour or two she is awake at all in the day, she's full of smiles. Maybe I like her because she sleeps from 10:30 to 7 or 8 in the morning. If only I would go to sleep before midnight I would really be getting some good sleep:) But really I couldn't love her more. Her WILD CRAZY sisters sure love her too! *and I told Ryan it's okay that I love her this much right now, because I felt the same way about the twins when they were this little:) I hope I can stop having kids one day because I have an unhealthy obsession with newborns! I think I'll just have to keep reminding myself they turn two~

Well it's been a long time since I've actually written more than just a one liner with a picture. The last few days I've been thinking a lot. Not about anything specific...just thinking. I want to be a lot of things I haven't quite become. I want to be a really clean organized person. That has never been my forte, but I'm kind of good at arranging junk in corners, or making clutter look cute? That's what I try to tell myself, but instead maybe I'll just practice bringing out my OCD clean & organized self. I realize this could be an impossible task to conquer considering the current condition at my house 2 year olds = big fat messes. They never stop! So we'll see how this works:) The other thing I am wanting to do is activities with the twins. Anyone have any great ideas or resources? Crafts.food. anything that might make their lives a little more fun! (I realize this isn't going to help with my clean plan but oh well) I know they enjoy playing together and watching shows, but I'd really like to give them something else.
The other thing is my baby. She is growing, smiling, and making noises. At first I resisted loving it because I just want her to stay little and new. Today I've decided to embrace it. I talked to her a lot to encourage her to talk back, and it worked. She is so cute and snuggly. When she yelps (that's the only word I can think of to explain the sounds she makes) she scrunches her nose and smiles really big. I love it. She is also becoming aware of her sisters. She responds to the noises they make or when they are singing to her she stares and occasionally smiles. It's fun for me to see that even just plain sisters (not twins) have a sweet bond and love for each other. I am lucky
I have added as many bright colors to my kitchen as I could the last month or so. Yesterday I even bought myself some tulips at the grocery store. Something about fresh flowers on the counter makes me happy! and now that I think of it I think that might be my reward to myself for taking 3 kids to the store...fresh flowers. I think I really like that idea. Perfect.
That's about all I can think of that I've been thinking about- nothing too exciting but my thoughts. Maybe if I paint my downstairs bathroom a bright fun color it will make spring really come and stay? I'll give it a try:)

I linked you all to the cuddleme carrier website in my last post to show you my sling that I love! What I didn't know was that they were half off:) I called to ask what size I had ordered and made a joke about how cheap they were right now and they said the sale was only until Friday...so just fyi get one quick! I got myself a large size because I didn't want to feel squished together, and I feel very comfortable with the way it fits both me and Ella. :)

DISNEY ON ICE! Ryan said no to Princess dresses...but we picked him up from work so he didn't really get a choice:) and I didn't even bring a different outfit incase he was really serious about it.

THIS about made their life complete! They are obsessed with Little Mermaid. It made me a so happy to watch them with wide eyes. They've been locked up in the house for months now, so this was quite the event for them!

Ella was two months a little while ago, but I still haven't posted so here you are...

shots- sad sad sad. and a little rude. like those CHUNKY legs???

Luckily they didn't affect her too much. She didn't ever get fevered or anything but she was VERY mad when they were given to her.

She weighed 12 lbs 4 oz! Which just made me laugh. She is so opposite from the girls I'm still adjusting. (Keep in mind the twins weighed 16 lbs at their one year appointment) She has started giving us lots and lots of smiles and sounds. Oh we love her and can't get enough of her! She started sleeping through the night at 8 weeks...which makes me a much happier mommy! I still can't put her in her own room. It's funny how having 2 babies made me feel like they had a buddy so I didn't have such a rough time putting them in their rooms, letting them cry, or leaving them in their bed while I got in the shower:) Ella goes everywhere with me and it makes me laugh. Who'd have thought having one baby would make me a wuss? Well I am:)

We had a lovely day for Ella's blessing. It's always so nice to have a day where all the people you love can be together! It just makes me happy... and I always think about heaven at days like these..and all the people I just want to be with forever! so special.

I was at the spa and Ryan was home with the girls. It was time for the twins to go to bed. They were being a little naughty, didn't want to go to sleep, and got mad when Ryan would try to leave their room. He finally said "Go to bed, I have to go feed Ella." (I had left some pumped milk for her) With a panicked look on her face Lauren said "NO DADDY DON'T FEED ELLA!!! YOUR BOOBIES ARE TOO SMALL!" Ha ha! Can you imagine the thoughts going through their poor little two year old heads? I about laughed so hard I couldn't breath when he told me. Ya Ryan, probably don't attempt that:)

Well it happened...like I knew it would! Baby Ella is one month old! So crazy, but the good news is I'm not crying, right now anyway. It has been so great having a new baby around. I can't believe how good the girls have been to her! (to me? not so much all the time, but to her!) She has started opening her eyes more and is trying to focus. It is so sweet and fun to see her awake. The holding and loving hasn't stopped at all. I think I sniff her the whole day too...I just can't get enough of that sweet baby smell:) Here are a couple pictures of this little babe

life is good...crazy but good. I am adjusting to three kids- at home...trying to go anywhere is still a different story, but being home is good for the most part. Lauren & Hallie are starting to really love Ella, especially Lauren. She always runs straight to her whenever she lets out even the tiniest cry, and is always concerned with "where's baby ella?" Its pretty cute. When I started to post I realized I haven't been taking very many pictures of this new little baby. shame on me. Glad I am aware of the problem so I can be better! Here are a few of the girls over the last couple weeks. We are happy! (except the twins refused to nap today so I'm kind of really not happy about that.)

Lauren is now in charge of cleaning the house:) i wish.

I might have tears while I'm writing this, and don't make fun. My baby is a week old. I hate that. It sounds terrible to me. Only because that means soon she'll be 1 month old, then 1 year, and so on. I LOVE babies!!! I can't get enough of them, especially my own. Anyone know how to magically stop a baby from growing? She is the sweetest little thing, and I have loved every second of her 7 days of life. Her sisters are becoming fans of hers too:) In fact they'll even stop what they are doing and run over to give her a kiss every once in a while. How lucky they all are to have sisters. There really is nothing better- I love all of mine so much! I feel so blessed to have three little girls, and a wonderful husband to be their dad. It's a little obnoxious how much Lauren & Hallie love him...I'm secretly hoping this little girl Ella might love her mom:) Maybe that's why I haven't put her down yet in her little 7 days of life...

We are so happy to have this little baby in our home! She was born at 3:06 on Tuesday. (luckily the Dr came running in at the last minute to deliver!!! My nurse didn't believed me that I would "go fast" and when I told her 45 min after they broke my water she was coming...until she checked for herself:) It was a little scary, but all worked out) She weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and was 20 1/4 inches long. She has lots of dark hair but mostly just on the sides and in the back:) She is so sweet and the girls are fine with having her around. They don't really pay attention to her, but haven't been mean to her either. I can't believe how glad I feel to just have one little baby:) I am so glad we had the twins first and now we can really appreciate the simpleness and beauty of a new baby.

Well first, we had a fabulous Christmas and I was just SO glad not to have given birth on Christmas Eve or Christmas! I will blog all about the fun we had soon but I did get a camera remote and a tripod so I decided to try them out on myself:) I'm not a big fan of my appearance, but I can do the silhouette, and actually think this would have been really cool in a long story board month to month. TOO bad, maybe I'll have to have another kid and do it then:) I am still scheduled to be induced on Tuesday morning, unless she kindly comes before then. I've been dilated to a 3 for two weeks now, so who knows. Anyway...wish me luck! I'm excited to have a yummy little baby around again!!!

Christmas is coming up so quickly! Mostly I just love having my tree up, decorations around, the music, and all the best scentsy flavors smelling yummy in my house! My mom gave all the grandkids the advent calendars with Chocolate...which Lauren and Hallie are LOVING! Every day they tell me they have to find the number! What an excuse to eat chocolate!!! They should make those for more holidays!?!

My very photogenic child Lauren (I wish I could say that 90% of the pictures I take of her she is NOT pulling this face, but she is) I think she is afraid of I might use a flash or something? but non the less here she is with her calendar

My parents also took us down to Salt Lake for dinner and a "Christmas Activity" I chose to go to Festival of trees:) I have such fun memories going there every year growing up...and singing with the Talent Sprouts! I know many of you loved it to:) We ate at Spaghetti Mama's which I had never experienced, and it was DELICIOUS! the bread sticks were amazing... loved it!

Also with the first SNOW fall, we were eating breakfast and Hallie looked out side and got SO excited! She said "MOM look! Its my Christmas, and snow! I love to play in the snow!!!" So we got them all bundled up and played in the dust of snow:) The loved it!!! even if it was more playing in the dirt than snow!

well, my grandma asked me today if I was quitting my blog:) So I guess I will try to do some updates, and be better! We spent Thanksgiving with my family and Ryan's parents also joined us! It was SUCH yummy food and a fun day. I made some delicious rolls (thanks to Leslie's recipe she shared) It was a little sad having my brother Chase away in Belgium on a mission, but he is doing so well that it makes it a very happy thing! Anyway, here are some pictures of the day...

Me & my sisters! Oh how I love them, and hate pictures of my pregnant self...oh well!

and I finished off the night with a quick photo shoot for our Christmas cards! Why didn't anyone tell me to bring a 7 year old cousin along for pictures? Dear Sydnee...thank you for making both of my girls smile...at the same time! Its a miracle:) More of these fun pictures I'll post soon! Here is one of the reasons I am okay with having another girl:) I've never tried decorating a boys room, but it just seems like it's easier and you can do more with a girls...I couldn't show the whole room because its not completely finished yet and there's still clutter in the corners:) Better get it all done soon because I have an official induction scheduled on Dec. 30th...coming soon! How exciting!

Nothing too much to write or blog about...but here are some pictures of Ryan and the girls playing in his parents back yard after church last week. We have been talking about the new baby coming to live at our house and for the most part they seem excited about the thought. However, Lauren has started walking around, picking up something..and says "Mommy, baby no touch my barbie okay?"..."Mommy, baby no touch my blanky okay?"...and pretty much everything else she sees. Or Eats. "Baby doesn't get my fruit snacks, okay momma" So pretty much we might have some issues once this baby really does come:) On a positive note they are doing so well with the potty! We rarely ever have accidents and they are really good to let us know when they need to go. Besides my germ issues *ESPECIALLY in public bathrooms* I am really glad to have them potty trained!

About a month or so ago we turned their cribs into toddler beds and they love those too! The night we were changing them they thought it was the best thing ever and were jumping around the room like crazy. I had no idea they would "get it". They really are getting so big. The funny thing about the change has been they have also decided to change beds. When they were in cribs we always just put them in the same at nights, and now they both just want to sleep in the other ones bed. It's kind of funny. Anyway...we are looking forward to a yummy thanksgiving and feel very grateful for SO many things we are blessed with!

We had a few days of celebrating the holiday! Good use out of the costumes I guess:) Lauren & Hallie were so fun this year and really enjoyed all the festivities! Here are some pictures from just a couple of the things we did-

and don't worry....Christian & Emily Hall had a Halloween party, and dressing up is totally not like me but here we are... the biggest loser couple. I know I am super chubby(without the costume) but I must let you know I still did some stuffing:) It was a fun party with lots of yummy food and treats!!!

The last few days I've been feeling excited to have a new baby in our home. It is weird having another child when you already have a couple. I remember with Lauren & Hallie it consumed most of my thoughts and all of my email updates I did...before the blogging began for me. This poor baby gets my thoughts around 11:30 when I lay in bed and feel her move like a crazy lady:) I'm sure it's made the pregnancy go by quicker, even though it still feels like I've been pregnant for a very long time. She is growing big and the doctor estimated her weight at my last appointment at 2.11. So tiny...and kind of depressing when you realize that all the weight you have gained is NOT the baby:) We got a 3-d profile of her and she looked much more like me than Lauren & Hallie, but who knows. I switched doctors at my last appointment so my appointments would be close to Ryan's work, and he could take the girls because the last few appointments with them there were HORRIBLE! I let my new doctor know I had a goal of having this baby before the 31st of Dec. so we don't miss out on the tax break and he seemed on board- that made me happy!
Last week was the week I went on bedrest with the twins (28 weeks) and it felt good to still be on the go and NOT laying on the couch all day. I really can't believe I ever had two babies inside of me, but it's amazing what a body can do. I actually don't feel that much smaller or "more comfortable" than I did with two- I think they were just really snuggled up inside! Anyway...these are all random thoughts but I am getting very excited to love a tiny little baby. This should be interesting to see how different it feels to just have one- I kind of already feel bad she doesn't have a little buddy. I've decided she & I can be buddies since Lauren & Hallie have eachother... And for now her name is Ella:)

I have a few blogs I really love...and visit often:) I do not personally know any of these "bloggers" but they have so much faith, knowledge, strength, & courage that I find myself reading their words to uplift me. Which is very ironic because all of them have lost children in the last little while... I feel like I want to share STEPHANIE'S blog with you my blogger friends today. Some people are born to write, and she definitely was(and thankfully does daily). I learn so much from her words and it is amazing to me how many lives she is touching through her blog, including mine. Anyway if you are up for some really good reading go visit. I think she is wonderful!

I finally love their room:) My dad had painted it green..and I always hated the color but didn't feel like (or know how to paint) so I just let it be. Then one day I got super brave and ambitious ...the same day I bought brown paint that is now on my carpet... and painted it yellow! With help from my sister Lindsay I think I kind of know how to paint now, and I am so glad. It feels so happy in their room now- usually messy- but happy!

These two are OBSESSED with "lips" as they call lipgloss or chapstick! It's actually pretty funny, and one small tube will keep them entertained for hours:) If fact we bought them each their own to use on the airplane ride home from Indiana and it did the job! Funny girls...

A group of us got tickets to the So you think you can dance tour and went last night. It was so much fun having a night out with girls...and a yummy dinner at macaroni grill! The show was pretty good (but nothing like American Idols) but mostly I just loved being with friends and having a night out! (thanks for the pictures I stole from your blog Marci...only I wish i wasn't the huge fat pregnant girl infront! oh well...)

"They" say don't cry over spilled milk, but what about spilled paint? brown paint. all over your carpet. Well it happened and yes I did cry. Poor Lauren, she's only two but I could have beat the girl- only a half a gallon of paint she spilled:) The lucky part of the story is that my cute dad got right in the car with his shop-vac and helped clean it up, then my sister Lindsay jumped in the car and came to help me with the painting project I was originally planning to do. I am so lucky, and love them both! My carpet is stained permanently which kind of makes me sick, but the good news is it could be worse....right? That's what "they" always say so I'm holding on to that. Even though I'm still pretty sad about the carpet.

We made it home:) After six hours in the Cincinnati airport we finally confirmed that all flights had been canceled thanks to hurricane Ike. That meant finding a hotel, and a shuttle to get us there. Kind of depressing when you have already checked your luggage gone through security and waited and waited. So we ended up staying another night and coming home Monday. It was so funny when we were getting ready to go back to the airport I said "Lauren hurry and let me do your hair so we can go get on the airplane." She looked at me like I was crazy and said... "No mama airplane, I can't!" (in her whiniest voice of course) but i laughed and couldn't blame her. I didn't know if I was up for it either:) Other than that our trip was great! It feels good to be home, even if the girls cry all day for their Dad, Papa, Grandma, Colby, Talon, & Addi. -that part is getting annoying! Here are a few more highlights from the trip...

The Indianapolis Zoo: The girls were so happy there! They loved all the animals and still talk about all the things we saw there.

Ever seen a polar bear swim? I hadn't and actually thought it was the coolest thing!!! They only swim with their arms and just tuck their legs under them. It was crazy!

Grandma Cindy with Lauren(?) and Addi. I was so lucky to have so many people with enough energy to keep up with the girls, because mine is pretty much always gone!

This whole room is glass and where the dolphins live. It was really cool- Lauren & hallie still don't understand glass and were pretty nervous!

The Childrens Museum: HUGE! and so many different things for the kids to do. We were really glad we went and the girls loved it.

INDIANA (part 1)

Well, we will be heading home tomorrow so I thought I would try to get a step ahead on my blog and post a few pictures of a fun day we had while we have been here visiting..... We visited this big pretty park (kind of a mini version of Central Park) and had such a fun time! They loved the playground and have become much more brave since we have been here and they have had Talon & Addi to show them how to play:) I will post more after I get home and get my life back in order, but for now enjoy the happy fun faces of my children....

Can I just say I find my husband extremely attractive? I don't usually get mooshy on the blog, but really...he's cute:) glad he still likes me even though I get larger and larger every day!

I'm pretty sure these three boys have enjoyed being together more than anything. I am glad the boys had some quality {golfing} time together:) All of the kids have played so good and it makes me happy for them to get to know each other! Anyway it was a Fun Fun vacation!!! and more pictures soon:)

we're away for a week or two in Indiana visiting Ryan's brother and family, but I just had to say that my girls are obsessed with princesses, and cinderella right now!!! Only Hallie calls her "CINKERELLA" and pretty much it is my favorite thing she has ever said:) I keep saying if anyone corrects her I'll probably cry. I never understood a mom saying she liked the way her kid pronounced something totally wrong, but now I do and I too am loving this Cinkerella stage. Hope you all had fun at Peach Days! I sure am sad i missed it........
